Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and DATA BIZNES CONTROL LLC (Karakalpakvoice), registered in Nukus, Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan. By creating an account or using an API key you accept them.
1. The service
Karakalpakvoice provides speech synthesis, speech recognition and voice cloning for the Karakalpak language, and other languages where noted, over an HTTP API and a web console.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API keys. Keys are secrets: treat a leaked key as a leaked password, revoke it in the console and create a new one. Usage under your key is billed to you even if you did not intend it.
3. Acceptable use
Your use is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In particular: you may only clone a voice that is yours or one you have documented permission to use, and impersonation is prohibited. Read that policy before using /v1/clone.
4. Credits and payment
The service is prepaid in credits, denominated in Uzbek soms. New accounts receive a signup bonus. Published prices are per 1,000 characters for synthesis and cloning, and per second of input audio for transcription.
Credits are reserved before a request runs and returned if it fails — a failed request costs nothing. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable except where the law requires it. We may change prices with notice on this site; changes do not apply retroactively to credits already purchased.
5. Rate limits
Keys are subject to per-minute and per-day request limits and a daily character limit, to keep the service available to everyone. Exceeding them returns 429. Contact us if you need a higher limit.
6. Your content, and what you own
You keep all rights in the text you send and the audio you upload. We claim no ownership over them and, as set out in the Privacy Policy, we do not retain them or train on them.
You own the audio we generate for you and may use it commercially, provided you obtained it in compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy. You warrant that you have the rights to everything you submit, including any voice you clone.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise a particular uptime. It may be unavailable during maintenance, model updates or capacity problems. A saturated model returns 503 and no credits are charged.
Output quality varies. Karakalpak is the language this service is built for and the one our published accuracy figures describe; other languages are supported but not to the same standard. We do not warrant that output will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose — if it matters, check it.
8. Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that does not pay, or that threatens the service's stability or other users. Where there is ongoing harm we may act first and explain afterwards.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of credits you spent in the three months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or reputational harm.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, injury or fraud.
10. Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of how you used the service — in particular a claim about a cloned voice — you will cover our reasonable costs in defending it.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this site before they take effect, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and disputes fall to the courts there. We would rather resolve things by email first — write to us.
